What We Love

The estate is part of a family-managed winery, stewarded for over twenty years. Overlooking the surrounding valley, a historic castle (currently under renovation) offers sweeping views of the Chianti landscape and the medieval towers of San Gimignano. Vineyards planted in 1956 by the Prince of Habsburg Lorraine became renowned for producing a unique, celebrated local wine, inspiring the transformation of the farmhouse and nearby buildings into an exquisite retreat haven.

The estate is nestled within lush woodlands, offering trails to explore daily through dense vegetation. As you wander, you might encounter wildlife like deer, pheasants, wild boar, and even porcupines. We’re happy to suggest scenic routes to charming nearby towns, or you may choose to roam freely, letting your instincts lead you through the captivating Chianti landscape, uncovering hidden trails and vistas at your own pace.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Accommodations are held in charming apartments with double or single bedrooms and shared living-room & fireplace. Apartments are located in a seventeenth-century building attached to the main Villa. Historically used as a convent, its original structure has been meticulously and elegantly maintained for an authentic experience.
